Gujarat Heatwave Alert: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Ahmedabad Meteorological Centre has forecast mainly dry weather conditions across Gujarat, Saurashtra-Kutch, Diu, Daman, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli over the next few days. According to the latest state weather bulletin, temperatures are expected to remain above normal in several districts, with hot and humid conditions prevailing in many regions.

The IMD stated that no significant rainfall activity has been reported across most parts of Gujarat recently. Weather remained dry over South Gujarat, Saurashtra-Kutch, Diu, Daman, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli during the last 24 hours.

Temperature Continues to Rise

Several cities across Gujarat recorded high daytime temperatures, indicating the continuation of summer heat conditions. Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar crossed the 43°C mark, while Rajkot, Amreli, Baroda, and Deesa also experienced temperatures above 42°C.

Bhavnagar recorded temperatures close to 40°C, while coastal areas such as Veraval, Dwarka, and Porbandar remained comparatively cooler due to sea breeze influence.
