Farmer Registration Gujarat 2026
The Government of Gujarat, in collaboration with the Government of India, has started the “Farmer Registration Gujarat 2026” initiative under the AgriStack Farmer Registry Project. Through this digital initiative, farmers across the state will receive a unique “Farmer ID,” similar to an Aadhaar card, to simplify access to government schemes and agricultural services.
According to government officials, lakhs of farmers in Gujarat have already completed their registration, and the state aims to bring every farmer under the Farmer Registry system in the coming months.
What is Farmer ID?
Farmer ID is an 11-digit unique identification number assigned to farmers. It will contain important details such as personal information, land records, and other agricultural data. This ID will play a key role in delivering government benefits directly to farmers in a transparent and efficient manner.
Benefits of Farmer ID
With the help of Farmer ID, farmers will be able to easily access various state and central government schemes, including:
- PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
- Kisan Credit Card (KCC)
- Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana
- Minimum Support Price (MSP) Scheme
- National Agriculture Market (e-NAM)
Officials say the digital platform will help improve transparency and ensure faster delivery of benefits to eligible farmers.
