The coaching institute was operating inside a shopping complex that also housed showrooms and a game zone.

According to reports, the fire started inside the coaching centre and quickly spread through the building, trapping several students and staff members. Emergency services rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information about the incident.

Rescue Teams Launch Large-Scale Operation

Fire brigade personnel, police officials, district administration teams, and SDRF personnel reached the location and launched extensive rescue and evacuation operations. Rescue teams worked tirelessly to bring trapped individuals to safety.

Several students reportedly managed to save themselves by taking shelter inside washrooms until rescue workers reached them. Others escaped by jumping from the first floor of the building as smoke and flames spread rapidly.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Monitors Situation

Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak visited the accident site and reviewed the ongoing rescue and relief efforts. He directed officials to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured and take all necessary measures to support affected families.

The local administration has assured that a detailed inquiry will be conducted to determine the cause of the fire and identify any lapses in safety arrangements.

PM Narendra Modi Announces Ex-Gratia Assistance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep grief over the tragic incident and extended condolences to the families affected by the fire mishap.

In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia payment of ₹2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to the next of kin of each deceased victim. Additionally, injured persons will receive financial assistance of ₹50,000.

The Prime Minister also wished a speedy recovery to those injured and stated that authorities are providing all possible assistance while rescue operations continue.

Investigation Underway

As rescue operations continue, officials are focusing on determining the cause of the fire and assessing the extent of damage. Authorities are expected to release further details after a comprehensive inspection of the building.
